Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Demo Specialist to help us spread the word about our amazing AquaOmega Fish Oil Supplements. This position is more than just handing out samples; we expect our Demo Specialists to attract and engage new customers and provide knowledgeable tidbits on the benefits of our products. You will be responsible for setting up and breaking down event tables and presentation areas efficiently and must present yourself in a professional manner at all times when representing us at an event. Candidates with customer service or brand ambassador experience are preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Demo Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and break down display and presentation tables
• Provide information and marketing materials to customers
• Present products in a clean and organized manner
• Answer customer questions about the benefits of our products

Demo Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service or brand ambassador experience a plus
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Ambassador Role with AquaOmega

Summary & Location:
AquaOmega aims to be the global leader in both innovation and quality when it comes to Omega-3 fatty acid supplements. We are looking for a Territory Manager to join our growing team for the Western Ontario region, including Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Hamilton, London, Guelph, Waterloo, and Niagara.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the AquaOmega Broker team:

• Provide management and direction to our broker team which includes:
  • managing the ongoing execution HQ business plans
  • assist in setting and achieving sales growth
  • communicating strategic priorities from HQ to sales team
• Support the broker team to identify new business opportunities through attendance at meetings and trade events, hosting presentations and promoting Company services developing relationships with brokers for national business opportunities.
• Educate, coach and provide direction to the broker team. Create a challenging and rewarding working relationship to maximize their full potential while contributing to the achievement of AquaOmega’s goals.
• Act as an escalation point between the broker, distributors and retailers to ensure the flow of communication and assist in solving any concerns.
• Management of retail demonstration calendar:
  • Manage and/or execute educational sessions
  • Manage and/or execute product sampling demos
  • Responsible for management of demo staff scheduling, expense allowance and submissions
  • Responsible for gathering, evaluating, and analyzing consumer/retail staff feedback and insights following sampling demonstrations or educational sessions

Support the Retailers:

• Direct sales:
  • Health & wellness practice channel (Chiropractors & Naturopaths)
  • Health Food channel
• Identify new business sources through attendance at meetings and trade events, hosting presentations and promoting Company services developing relationships with brokers for national business opportunities.
• Educate, coach and provide direction to the broker team. Create a challenging and rewarding working relationship to maximize their full potential while contributing to the achievement of Vivo’s goals.
• Recommend, develop, monitor and provide expertise in the creation and implementation of business development strategies.
• Maintain an exceptional understanding and knowledge of the changing marketplace, products and competitors. Provide industry insights to Vivo HQ while providing thoughtful recommendations to improve our offering to our customers (retail and end consumers).
• Management of retail demonstration and staff
  • Manage and/or execute educational sessions
  • Manage and/or execute product sampling demos
  • Responsible for management of demo staff scheduling, expense allowance and submissions
  • Responsible for gathering, evaluating, and analyzing consumer/retail staff feedback and insights following sampling demonstrations or educational sessions
• Allocate, manage and maintain expense budgets within the sales function to stay within targets;
• Act as an escalation point between the broker, distributor and retailer to ensure the flow of communication and assist in solving any concerns.
• Identifies opportunities and implements plans to achieve greater efficiencies and savings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• A good understanding of of Natural Health Products, especially fish oils
• Experience in sales
• Good organization skills and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and Google productivity tools
• High energy positive attitude, self starter with ability to work independently
• Ontario drivers license and vehicle is required.
